How to Correctly Conduct Regular Inspection and Maintenance of Bulldozer Chassis Components

The bulldozer chassis is the "foundation" of the entire machine, bearing weight and transmitting power. It is prone to wear, leakage and other faults when working in harsh conditions for a long time. Mastering the correct method of regular inspection and maintenance can extend the service life of the equipment, ensure operation safety and control costs. The core points are as follows.
I. Core Principles of Inspection and Maintenance
Chassis components are closely related, and 3 principles must be followed for inspection and maintenance:
(1) Prevention First, Regular Inspection
Formulate an inspection plan according to the equipment manual and operation conditions, timely detect abnormalities such as abnormal noise and deviation, keep inspection records, and handle potential faults in advance.
(2) Special Parts for Special Use, Standard Operation
Replaced parts must match the original factory specifications and models. Use special tools, and it is strictly prohibited to disassemble roughly to avoid secondary damage to parts.
(3) Comprehensive Inspection, Key Investigation
Cover all core components, focusing on inspecting easily worn parts such as tracks and carrier rollers, and easily corroded parts such as oil seals.
II. Key Points of Regular Inspection for Core Components
Combined with the wear law of components, regular inspection is divided into 4 levels, with the key points as follows:
(1) Daily Inspection (Once Before and After Operation)
Focus on checking for "abnormality, looseness, leakage and dirt". Inspect whether the track has cracks, looseness and debris, whether the four wheels rotate normally and have leakage, whether the tensioning device and frame have abnormalities, and timely clean up the debris on the chassis.
(2) Weekly Inspection (Centralized Inspection After Operation)
With the help of tools such as wrenches and calipers, carefully inspect track wear and the fit clearance of the four wheels, fasten loose components, handle minor abnormalities, and avoid fault accumulation.
(3) Monthly Inspection: Focus on checking the wear degree of vulnerable parts such as track links and carrier roller oil seals, supplement lubricating oil, and replace slightly damaged parts.
(4) Annual Overhaul: Fully disassemble and inspect the core components of the chassis, replace severely worn and invalid parts, correct deformed parts, and ensure the normal operation of the chassis system.
